Access the Share Option:

Navigate to the project board you want to share.

Click on the Menu icon located on the right side of the board.

Enable Shareable Link:

Select the Share Project Board option from the menu.

A modal window will appear with a checkbox labeled "Enable Shareable Link."

Check this box to generate a shareable URL.

Add a Password (Optional):

If you want to restrict access to the board, enter a password in the provided field.

Only users who have the password will be able to access the board via the shared link.

Copy and Share the URL:

Once the Enable Shareable Link checkbox is selected, a unique URL will be generated.

Copy this URL and share it with the intended recipients.

View-Only Access:

When someone accesses the board using the shared link, they will see the board's structure, including all columns and tasks.

However, these users will only have view-only access:

They cannot open individual tasks to view details.

They cannot move tasks between columns or make any modifications.

Transparency: Provides stakeholders or clients with visibility into the project's progress without granting them full access to the workspace.

Simplified Sharing: Allows you to share the board with external parties without needing to invite them as members of the project or workspace.

Controlled Access: The optional password feature ensures that only authorized individuals can access the shared board.

Read-Only Security: Limits external access to viewing the board's structure and tasks, ensuring sensitive information remains protected.

Client Updates

Scenario: Share the project board with a client to keep them informed about the progress of their project.

Benefit: Clients can view the workflow and understand the current status of tasks without requiring full access to the workspace.

Set Clear Expectations: Inform recipients of the shared link about the limitations of view-only access to avoid confusion.

Use Passwords for Sensitive Projects: Enable the password protection feature for projects containing confidential or sensitive information.
